Asenovgrad

Asenovgrad is located in the northern foot of the western Rhodopes, 169 km southeast of Sofia and 19km south of Plovdiv. The town is situated in an area typical characteristic with an attractive combination of mountain and valley, mild climate and fertile soil.

 the 13th century Church of St Bogoroditsa;
 the Winery and Vineyard Museum;
 the Bachkovo Monastery;
 the Thracian rock of Belintash.
