Exchange of Contracts

  • After all the above legal formalities are met, our lawyers will prepare the finalisation of the deal;
  • Exchange contracts with the sellers and pay the full price as agreed in advance – should you need to obtain a mortgage on the property to finance your purchase, please contact us for detailed advice;
  • A 2% stamp duty is paid following completion;
  • To transfer the ownership from the previous owner, i.e. the regional Bulgarian court to issue title deeds to the Buyer, a notary public and a court fess also have to pay.
