Velingrad

Velingrad it is situated in western Rhodopes, 86km southwest of Plovdiv and is one of the most popular spa resorts in the country, with more than 80 mineral springs used for medical puroses, mild climate and fresh area.

 the health resort Yundola at the pass dividing the Rhodopes from Rila mountain, notable for its inhabitants' longevityl;
 the village of Dorkovo with the Zepina medieval fortress.
